We have driven through Rhewl many times and didn't know about this tearoom, what a fantastic place, tucked out of view. We had lunch today and it was perfection . I had the quiche and hubby had scampi. We cleared our plates. The tea was served in China cups which is always so much nicer. The service was excellent, the staff were helpful and friendly. Everywhere looked clean and tidy. The homemade cakes looked beautiful but we were too full to eat anything more. We will return, breakfast next time. Great value for money. Do google and get directions, you won't be disappointed.

Fab lunch today in this cute family run cafe in Rhewl on the way to Ruthin (first left just past Drovers Pub) Small shop area with gifts but mainly a cafe with lots of seating plus outdoor seating overlooking the Clwydian mountain range. Reasonable prices and great lunch and breakfast menu choices. We also noticed an afternoon tea on the table next to us (we asked to take a photo) looked delicious . 5/5 handbag cafe review well worth a trip out

Googled eateries in the area and here was nearby. (If i had read the reviews before hand i doubt we would have visited). Called in today after visiting Ruthin Gaol with 2 dogs. Very busy carpark but found a space as people leaving. Greeted on entering and told fully booked so would be a wait for inside table and for order to be taken, but we were happy to sit outside as we had the dogs. Lovely garden area with plenty of tables and in the sunshine. Food order taken not long after and food arrived half an hour later, servers were very friendly and polite. Lattes were nice and banana milkshake too which our granddaughter had 2 of! Food was nicely presented and well worth the price, we took some cake home which was plentiful too. Everyone's experience is different
